Fixed:
Game crashing instantly after creating & opening a new save. Level key configurator not working. Picture view item sometimes not showing photo/ui when used. Items not being updated if ui is hidden. Entities attacking dead player. Crate capacity being possibly reset to 0 if chunk is reloaded. Fixed firearm reloading.
Added/Changed
Liquid update: now bottles are separate from liquids. Bottles can store any liquid and don't stack anymore. Liquids can be collected from tiles that have them. Level 0 update: more room types, different structures (more will be added). Tents. You can craft and place them to get a shelter and a place to store items in. Dropped items and clothes don't despawn anymore and get saved with the level. They are also only collected when J keybind is pressed, so it's easier to store items this way. New levels: redrooms and the void. All item sizes were updated to be more realistic. Liquid containers and consumables have dynamic sizes. Clothes can get wet. You can also drop them. Dynamic line of sight update that hides triangles in front of walls. Off by default. Removed hard limit of inventory weight, added overload status with debuffs. New clothes and items. Hud updated. Updated credits and citations in terminal pages and title screen. Hud is not drawn when player is sleeping. Old death sound was removed from the game. Changed spear & rusty metal rod angle and damage. Censor tag for custom levels (level 12 effect). A pencil is needed to write in a notebook. You can noclip when walking. "Charged" tag is deprecated and replaced by batteryID.
And other minor changes/fixes.
Possible issues:
Collision bugs. Right now you can get "stuck" when too close to a wall, and move slower than usual, but it's less severe than getting completely stuck. Line of sight shadows disappearing for short time when loading level/looking far away. Saves not loading, with "invalid item" flooding the log. I encountered this once, but I am not sure if this still exists. I haven't found the cause and didn't manage to replicate the issue yet. Structures around you changing when reopening the game on some levels, or broken structures.
There may be some minor bugs which I didn't find when testing, please tell me if you find them. If so, I'll make another patch.
This update was originally a patch to fix a big issue with crashing, but I also decided to add some QOL features and small fixes. Some features that were planned to only appear in 1.2 were added too, like level 0 remake, tents, new liquid system, etc.
