A downloadable game for Windows
BitRooms is a simple top-down 2.5D game about exploring the Backrooms!
It has 26 levels (from 0 to 22 and others), more than 30 different items and smaller features like crafting, building, and an in-game wiki accessed from computer terminals. To complete the game, you need to collect 5 rare artifacts from supply crates and find the exit in Level 11.
The game primarily follows a mix of wikidot, fandom wikis and its own canon.
This game is my free-time project, so it's far from perfect and has some problems, I'm just having fun making it. Some issues include minor lag, structure generation errors, or player being drawn above blocks. I can't fix some of these quickly due to how the game works, but none are significant enough to be considered game-breaking.
New content, such as new entities, items and levels, and improvements of existing mechanics (such as base-building) is planned for the future.
If you install the game, please read !README.txt in files, it has important additional info!

uuhh found a glitch!
Oh yeah I already know about it, it was reported on the game's discord server. Also if you'll have more bug reports, it'd be better to send them there, it's more fitting for that kind of feedback than the comment section
I just got my computer back and this game is sweet but in level 6 u cant see anything at all i know thats lore accurate but can u add some light pls
Its not entirely black, but I made it too dark, and you can't see anything on some monitors (especially with brightness not being maxed out). I'll fix it soon

Nice game i saw that u made a reddit post about this game so i searched for it and a couple secounds later then i found this game lol and mm uhh can u pls add mobile support I don’t have a computer its currently being fixed right now and also no downloading stuff pls becus my mom is gonna get real Mad when she figures out that i downloaded this lol

Omg, thanks! I'll watch all of it soon. As I said before, it's not perfect now, but I hope you'll check it out after some updates. Also, I know that it's kind of too difficult&boring now (on normal settings), but I will work on that
The game is perfec. can you make online (i want just local). And i think you should add popular levels (level fun, level ! ...).
Sorry, I don't plan to add online mode in near future. I know it would be fun but it is really hard to work on (especially for me), and will probably require rewriting a lot of existing code as well. New levels are planned, but in next update I decided to focus on survival mechanics instead, as well more items, clothes, structures, etc. So I'm improving existing content and making current levels more fun for now. You'll see new levels in the update after the next one. (unless I split current update in two)

Is there going to be a version for MacOS? If not, could you perhaps post the link to the source code so me or other people can compile to mac?
Really sorry for that, but I'm not planning to release the source code of the game. However I may try compiling it for mac at some point (not sure when), with libs I'm using it's 100% possible but I have no experience (yet)
